ArchItecture of SolIdarIty EXHIBITION

Architecture of Solidarity Exhibition brings together works of seven different architecture groups practicing in Turkey which are Another Kind of Workshop, Düzce Hope Studio, Architecture for All, Ilya’s Kuzguncuk Gardens Improvement and Preservation Project, The Assembly of Architects, Plankton Project, The Initiative for the Protection of Historic Yedikule Gardens.

The exhibition consists of 8 panels (100 cm x 240cm), a printed book published by the Chamber of Architects Istanbul Metropolitan Branch and a corresponding website.

The exhibition was launched on January 2017 in Istanbul by the Chamber of Architects Istanbul Metropolitan Branch and traveled in different countries of Turkey. After Istanbul, the exhibition was held in Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Muğla and İzmir on 2017; Adana, Kahramanmaraş, Mersin and Atina on 2018. Also, panel discussions with representatives from each group were organized as part of the programming of the exhibitions in İstanbul, Diyarbakır, İzmir and Athens.
